The round table discussions focussed on the practical realities for banks, insurers and others of using mediation to resolve commercial disputes in which they are involved.
Mediation reforms have gained pace right across the region in the last few years, with countries such as Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia and Albania developing a variety of court-annexed and private sector mediation systems.
Businesses have a key contribution to make to the development of mediation, and CMI seeks wherever possible to harness their commitment to mediation reforms.
