CMI has been asked to advise on mediation research being conducted for the UK Ministry of Justice. The research, carried out by the British Institute for International and Comparative Law, aims to compare mediation developments in a range of countries, and draw from that lessons for mediation in the UK.
A representative range of jurisdictions has been chosen, including Commonwealth, European, common law, civil law, developing and federal countries.
CMI will play an expert advisory role. The results are due later this year.
