The new Slovak Minister of Justice, Lucia Zitnanska, this week paid generous tribute to CMI for its contribution to the development of mediation in Slovakia.
Citing her "sincere thanks to [CMI] for your personal fruitful cooperation, assistance and valuable recommendations", she acknowledged CMI's extensive contribution over the last four years. During that time, CMI has acted as adviser to the Ministry of Justice on a wide range of mediation issues, and developed an extensive partnership with the Ministry of Justice.
Minister Zitnanska also re-affirmed her governments commitment to mediation, stating that the Ministry of Justice "will continue its efforts in developing and strengthening mediation in future".
